Through our Lab tests, at-home use and recipe development, we've found that most foods cook best at high temps, like 400˚F, for short periods of time.

We also like that it has only four preprogrammed settings: frozen fries, chicken, fish, and meat, all of which you access through a single dial on the control panel. We found the browning to be a little inconsistent when air-frying salmon and chicken breasts, and our aubergine – while flavoursome – lacked the restaurant-style grill marks we were hoping for. Temperature control: We made sure each air fryer was actually able to reach its max temperature and maintain a relatively consistent temperature while cooking. However, air-frying does have some negatives, so it should be considered as part of a balanced diet. Thanks to the quick air circulation, cooking requires almost no oil and there is no unpleasant smell.The temperature dial turns smoothly and without much force, but the timer dial requires more strength to turn.
