About this deal

Perfumes are often designed with top, middle and base notes, and designed to smell different based on the time after application. It was immediately very familiar/nostalgic but it took me a while to work out what it reminded me of. As for the other notes, I think perhaps people are smelling the grapefruit and strawberry and mistaking it for something else? It’ll be awhile before I can truly enjoy this perfume as we are heading into what is shaping up to be a very cold Australian winter, but I am so looking forward to having this one in heavy rotation next summer as it’s a go-to summer scent for any and every occasion. I still have the magazine rip-out of an article announcing the tarot collection's release date from allure.

the tartness of the rhubarb isn't overtly sour but it provides the perfect bite that counteracts the fruity cocktail going on. L'Imperatrice is a mouth-watering concoction of watermelon and kiwi offset by the drama of pink cyclamen for an exhilarating fragrance sensation. I wanted to love this so much because the notes were right up my alley, but unfortunately all I get is watermelon jolly rancher and sweat. I'm not really into overpowering fruity fragrances but this one is very green and fresh and not sticky as other most frutiy perfumes. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. This is in the same soprano register with perfumes like Perry Ellis 360 (the original), Michael Kors Sexy Blossom, Burberry Body EDP. Also, you will receive so many compliments when you will wear this but sadly it will stay hardly for 4 hours. It kind of reminds me of my highschool days when I'd use some very fruity women's deodorant (I use Old Spice, generally not the fruity ones now), that would start to turn sharp on me halfway through the day.

Dry down goes pretty dull after about 2-3 hours but is inexpensive enough that I don't mind spraying again.Since it is still frigid in Ohio, I haven’t gotten to test out the longevity because it isn’t really suited for this weather, but it will probably be the first bottle I reach for when we hit the 70’s. it smelled like the garnier shampoo at first but it dries down to a fruity aquatic scent that reminds me of the afternoon when youre on holiday, after you showered coming back from the beach if that makes sense.
