About this deal

Young Persons Advisory Service – Providing mental health and emotional wellbeing services for Liverpool’s children, young people and families.

I purchased it without having any expectations with the people in the film being rank amateurs without any experience. Francis "Franny" Bennett shot to fame in Shooters, a gritty Channel 4 film about Liverpool's underworld, which became a cult hit. The film also portrayed the day-to-day life of a gangster, the flash cars, cocaine, guns and casual violence. He said Bennett only answered questions about items retrieved in his house, some of which were of "considerable value".What a welcome change to the utter trash that's currently being squeezed from the backside of Hollywood. So Reed ended up recruiting what might be described as ‘local characters’ to improvise a piece of fiction based on what goes on in Merkeyside’s criminal subculture. I must admit, however, I don't know why it's an 18 certificate, there is very little violence and that which is shown is either off-screen or very brief. He said Bennett tried to kill himself in 2007, when the ECHO reported how he was found wandering bare-chested down the M53 .

Shooters became a cult classic and was notable for having been completely unscripted apart from a brief outline. Set in Liverpool, this film by Dan Reed uses a cast of non-actors and semi-improvised scenes in an attempt to accurately portray the murky world of UK gangsters, with shockingly realistic results.

Mr Parry-Jones said Bennett had been awaiting sentence for more than a year and that with his mental health issues, the stress had weighed heavily.

This scene is the nauseous aftermath of a shooting carried out by a motley crew of drugdealing doormen. This is what a gangster movie should be like, not little softies like that Statham bloke who seems to be appearing on every tough guy movie.
