Logitech G MX518 Gaming Mouse HERO 25K Sensor, 25,600 DPI, ARM-Processor, 8 Programmable Buttons - Black/Grey
About this deal
So now, I try to use a mouse like “normal” people when navigating Windows, but I still can’t change my ways when it comes to gaming. All you're trying to do is mount the printed battery plate onto the G703 battery cover, to match the CAD screenshot above. I would also like to recommend the Roccat Kone Pure Military, as the gripping style is fairly similar to the MX500-shape, but smaller.
The hole in the back is where the logo will go, so if you don't want to work with epoxy, and don't care about backlighting, leave that intact. That is testament to the incredible build quality on this mouse, that its still working years after it was made. They glide well on both a mousepad and directly on a desk, although there's a slight scratchiness due to the sharpness of two straight edges.I aimed to keep it the same weight as the MX518, same form factor, and with all components mounted to the bottom so that the top could be easily removed. I should probably ask you what your use for the mouse is, but if that mx518 has been serving you well all this time, there's probably no reason to abandon Logitech. The feature I found most useful is the two sensitivity buttons located in front and behind the scroll wheel. I've owned both versions and never had a single problem with them being able to keep up with my movements. Sadly, most of its parts feel cheaply made, and some of its buttons have different pre-travel distances than the rest, which feels very weird.
No matter what game you’re playing, this mouse will definitely give you an edge against your opponent. There weren't any software issues encountered during testing, but users online have reported various problems trying to use Logitech G HUB, including but not limited to startup issues, freezing, and connection issues with some devices. Although it doesn't come with replacement feet, third-party versions are available, but we haven't tested them.
We also boast an active community focused on purchasing decisions and technical aspects of the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and other Apple platforms.Personally i also like the overall shape of the Kone, and also don't mind the 90% size of the pure compared to the XTD.
